Economic development is most successful when it is market driven. As a councilperson I plan to work with the department of permits and licensing to ease pathways for small business success.
Plans to protect our community by letting peace officers focus on violent crime instead of generating revenue.
A balanced city budget is best for Arlington and it's citizens. Fiscal responsibility will be my bench mark for any new projects considered by the City of Arlington. I would favor the reduction of unnecessary spending as opposed to raising taxes, fines, fees, assessments, or asset seizure.

In this age of information dominated by social media and sometimes "alternative facts" I intend to keep my constituents informed of the day to day life at city hall.
The city needs to improve and complete our sidewalk network. I would be interested in bringing public transportation to our city only if it was self sustaining.
I believe in the principal of due process that an individual cannot be deprived of life, liberty, or property without appropriate legal procedures and safeguards.
